Requirements for quality in accredited study programmes – higher education

All study programmes at universities and university colleges shall comply with the national requirements for educational quality. This applies also to those study programmes that are established by institutions with self-accrediting rights. The requirements for quality in study programmes are specified in Chapter 3 of the Regulations concerning quality assurance and quality development in higher education and tertiary vocational education (by the Ministry of Education and Research), and Chapter 2 of Regulations on the supervision and control of the quality in Norwegian higher education (by NOKUT).
