Institutional responsibility for educational quality
Universities, university colleges and vocational colleges are responsible for the quality of their study programmes and thus required to have an internal quality assurance system.
The regulatory framework for assessing educational quality consists of the Act relating to universities and university colleges, the Act relating to tertiary vocational education, and regulations by the Ministry of Education and Research and NOKUT.
