Frequently asked questions – NOKUT's portal for experts

On this page, you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding NOKUT's portal for experts.

• I do not have an electronic ID, what do I do?

  Click on the link at the bottom of the page that says Proceed to alternative login methods. We also have a separate guide to creating a self-registered user (pdf)

• I am registering as a new user, but I am unable to create a password

  The password must consist of at least 5 characters, and contain at least one capital letter and at least one digit (0–9). The password cannot contain special characters.

• I have forgotten my password, how do I obtain a new password?

  Click on Request new password on the login page.

• When I attempt to log in to the Portal for experts, a page appears with the words «Server Error in ’/’ Application. Runtime Error”. What does this mean?

  The Portal is down for an upgrade. Try again in a little while.

• I am unable to create a user, even though I am following the instructions. What to do?

  Try a different browser, such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

• When I click on "Access the portal" on the website "NOKUT's portal for experts", I just get an error page.

  Copy this link (Ctrl + c): https://portal-esam.nokut.no/Applicant and paste it into the address bar of your browser. It usually solves the problem.
